How to Install
All Franklin County web apps can run without installation by accessing the app in a web browser. If you wish to install an app for easy access, follow the steps below:
Apple iOS Mobile Devices
- Open the Safari web browser.
- Load the page for the web app that you want to install.
- Click the Share Icon
. - Select "Add to Homescreen".
- Select "Add".
Google Android Mobile Devices
- Open the web browser.
- Load the page for the web app that you want to install.
- Bookmark the webpage.
- Go to the home screen.
- Long press in an empty space to bring up the "Add to Home Screen Menu".
- Select "Shortcuts".
- Select "Bookmark".
- Choose your bookmark from step 3.
Windows Mobile Devices
Windows Phone 7 or higher
- Open the Internet Explorer web browser.
- Load the page for the web app that you want to install.
- Tap the three Dots that can be seen in the right bottom corner of the Windows Phone 7 and just drag it up to view the options menu.
- Select the "pin to start" menu to add the web app to HomeScreen.
BlackBerry Mobile Devices
BlackBerry Device Software version 4.5 or higher
- Click the Application Icons button at the left of the Inspector pane.
- Open the Web Links section of the Application Icons screen Inspector.
- Select Add Web Link.
- In the Name field, type a name for the application. This name appears on the application icons screen, prepended with the phrase "Web Link:".
- In the Address field, type the full address of the web app.
- Click OK.
